“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

I’m sure you have heard the phrase ‘take time to stop and smell the roses.’ And, I totally agree with this concept. However, it seems to me that there has been a focus lately on learning to say no and focusing on self-care. Now, please do not misunderstand me by thinking that this post is to say that those things are not needed. They absolutely are. Yet, I think that we also forget to take note of the busy behind-the-scene bees. Facebook church services, backpack and food drop off locations, so many activities are still happening for goodness to bloom in our city! These positive actions and outcomes don’t just magically come about. I am speaking to myself as I send out encouragement to seek out and thank those working to make things happen and lift them in prayers for strength and of thanksgiving.
